Story: Huck Fin is one of two 56′ Sportsman models built by the Huckins Yard in Jacksonville, Florida who gained fame with their legendary PT Boat “Quadraconic Hull”, later known as the Fairform Flyer hull. She underwent a complete restoration in the late 1980’s, only to partially sink in the Gulf after hitting a submerged object. So it underwent a second restoration later that year which included the installation of the CAT 3208s. Because of her unique hull design, she planes at 11 knots and tops out at 24 knots. She also raises fish well, something about the harmonics of the CATs through the wood hull.
Class Entry: Cruiser (40’+)
